Inkjet printer is a common printer we can meet at home and home office. Inkjet printers are less expensive than laser printer, and the quality same with laser printer. Inkjet cartridges are cheaper than laser toner cartridges. That’s why inkjet printer popular for low budget person or company.

The replaceable part for inkjet printer is ink cartridge. This is where you should put printer ink. For some printer types, cartridge cost half of new printer price. New cheap printer only cost about $400; new printer cartridge is cost about $200. For money reasons, its better you refill your cartridge with ink instead of buying new cartridge. If your cartridge has broken you can buy new cartridge or buy the printer.

Refilling printer cartridge is not recommended by printer manufacturer. They recommend replacing with the new one. Of course they are protecting their potential income by selling new inkjet cartridges. Refilling printer cartridge will decrease new cartridge demand. That’s why for some cartridges, there is a protector for refilling by your own.

When you refill printer cartridge, you should know the type of ink that work best. Each ink contains a different formula. Some inks are inefficient and messy. You can buy the ink and then refill by yourself. Or you can replace your cartridge with refill printer cartridge at some stores. Refill printer cartridge can cost half compare with new printer cartridge.
