Hillcrest California
Hillcrest is known as the village in the city. In this place you will meet many shops, boutiques, bookstores, gallery and more. Like in village in this place you meet tolerance people, pedestrian activity. They manage the place into organized and nice place for shoppers and residents. There are mostly residential with large amount of retail, tree lined street, homes, and apartments.
Due to many pedestrian activities, you can enjoy walking in here. You can walk from café to café, from restaurants to shops, because it is near. You can use bicycle or scooter for walking around Hillcrest. It is better if you bike ride through Balboa Park in the morning, and then get breakfast at popular Crest Café, get some pancake and drink a cup of coffee.
In August there will a City Fest event, an annual street festival with features live entertainment, food, a beer and street vendors. There will also a weekly farmers market, you can buy fresh vegetables in that event.
