In telecommunications industries, researchers are focus on nanophotonics and optofluidic components and devices to provide smaller, faster and more reliable communications. Some of these industrial nano applications are already in commercial success state, and some still in testing stage.

The researchers are come from selected people from many departments at Technology Transfer University. The combination of multidisciplinary scientists enables development of nano objects easier. Those departments are department of physical chemistry, department of inorganic chemistry and faculty of medicine.

To transfer the technology to the marketing there are marketing and legal professionals from Yissum (the Technology Transfer Services Company of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem). These professionals help the research center to make their product marketable and comply with any patent.
