Cheap Lenovo Laptop < $200 : Sale only $198!
Lenovo, large company based in China, own by goverment of china, plan to offer cheap laptop for Chinese farmer. It’s about $198 per notebook.
This low cost notebook is targeted for rural user in China. But this offer is not limited in China, they also plan to sell it outside china to the third wolrd country. This for increase their market share at notebook market in the world.
Based in China, Lenovo is the country’s dominant PC maker. Last week it reported revenue of US$3.9 billion for its first fiscal quarter and a net profit of $67.8 million, more than 10 times the profit for the same period last year.
By setting prices so low, Lenovo is also sending a signal to competitors such as the nonprofit One Laptop Per Child project and chip-making giant Intel. Both companies have designed low-cost PCs designed for users in developing countries, including OLPC’s XO laptop for $176 and Intel’s Classmate for $225.
